UNC Greensboro

UNC Greensboro had an interesting problem. They needed to relocate a recording studio to a new location. But the only available space was a busy (and noisy) warehouse off campus, and they only had $250k to do it. This was definitely our kind of project! We first had to design super-soundproof rooms and doors. Then we added red light fixtures to let warehouse staff know recording was in progress. As a bonus (and because the chancellor often uses the space), we used an interesting paint scheme utilizing three inch painters tape to add interest without adding a single dime to the project.
