The Base Civil Engineer building was a complete renovation of and addition to an existing building on NCANG’s Charlotte campus. The building serves as the office of the Base Civil Engineer, which oversees all of the construction projects for the NCANG. The $5 million dollar project consisted of a one and two story addition that included: offices, training room, new restrooms, vehicle maintenance bay, all new HVAC and electrical systems, and complete rework of the site, some done in order to accommodate blast protection requirements.
